Why NAEYC?

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the United States' premier organization for early childhood professionals. It creates research-based standards and provides resources designed to improve early childhood program quality, enhance the professional development and working conditions of program staff, and help families learn about and understand the need for high quality early childhood education. Accreditation by NAEYC requires strict adherence to its standards, and a committed administration and teaching staff.

ACCCCC was one of the first Western New York child care centers to become NAEYC-accredited. Like NAEYC, ACCCCC is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children by focusing on the quality of educational and developmental services for all pre-school-aged children. ACCCCC joins NAEYC's nearly 100,000 members, a national network of over 300 local, state, and regional affiliates, and a growing global alliance of like-minded organizations.
